PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever for transmission which is capable of performing careful thought-out controls and an automatic clutch system. SOLUTION: Output signals are continuously detected and two kinds of signals of the transmission will of a driver and a gear location can be taken out from a shift lever 10 by providing rotation sensors 5 and 6 on the extension line of a cross joint 11 which is possible to rotate in the shift direction and the select direction of the shift lever 10. Therefore, careful thought-out controls can be performed. Further, the assembling becomes easy and assembling man- hour can be reduced because a sensor detecting the location of the gear of a transmission is unnecessitated to be mounted on the main body of the transmission. Further, a circular notch is formed at the foot part of a yoke 11 of the shift lever 10 and a spring is inserted into the spring storing part of the cylinder part of the cross joint 4 so as to fit a ball toward this circular notch. Therefore, malfunctions of gear shifts due to vibration caused by a road surface state, a sudden departure or a sudden braking can be prevented. |
