PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove ion species of high concentration which have a possibility of fatally damaging a detector, and simplify an analysis opeartion by carrying out a prescanning and automatically removing signals on a level to be removed based on the information from the prescanning in an actual analysis. SOLUTION: A prescanning is performed before an actual analysis so as to judge the presence/absence of signals on a level to be removed by a comparator 50 and the result is stored in a judgment result memory 52. Then, in the actual analysis, a calculation among three memories is performed by a logic circuit 60 based on the outputs of the judgment result information of the memory 52, a forced removal memory 54 and a forced non-removal memory 56 which stores ion specifies to be forirely removed and ion specifies not to be removed beforehand respectively despite the signal levels, and the final removal ion is decided, and a signal is sent to a drive circuit 32 of a matrix removal device ME. This constitution allows an analyst to analyze without any necessity of recognizing the presence and absence of the matrix ion and also avoids the damage of a detector 24 caused by timing deviation. |
