PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vend merchandise while subtracting the price of target merchandise by first selecting a purchase amount and only once exposing a non-contact data carrier over a reader/writer. SOLUTION: When a user selects a purchase amount select button 510 and presses a return button 511 at an account adjusting part 500 after the remainder updating processing of non-contact data carrier, a return request is sent from the account settling part 500 to an automatic vending machine part 300, and all the lamps of merchandise select button 310 are turned off. Then, returned money is sent from the vending machine part 300 to the account settling part 500, and the account settling part 500 displays the data carrier on a display/ guidance part 530 so as to expose it over an access area. When the user exposes the data carrier, in this case, the read request of ID and remainder is sent from the account settling part 500 to the data carrier. At such a time, when the ID is coincident, the remainder is sent from the data carrier to the account settling part 500, and the account settling part 500 performs the reference check of the remainder and displays the remainder on the remainder column of guidance part 530. |
