PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for automatically correcting a document layout in display space. SOLUTION: In the method which repositions a contents object on a page in response to a request for changing a page composition related to a page, a user's request that change a page composition is received, and current page composition information related to a page which contains description about each component in a current page composition is retrieved. The aligned data of the contents object is derived by deciding whether any edge part of the contents object is aligned with the component or not. After that, a page layout is redefined according to the user's request. Finally, the contents object is repositioned on a page where the contents object is redefined based on the aligned data. |
