<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a towel for bathing which may be produced by a conventional twill weaving machine and has a higher volumetric feel, improve hand and a good use feel. SOLUTION: This towel for bathing consists of leno cloth over the greater part. The leno weave is twill and the weft 3 of the twill is intertwined by applying a final twist of 5 to 15/inch to plural pieces of single yarn in the same direction as the twisting direction of the single yarn. The densities of the ground warp 1 and the leno warp 2 in the final woven state are respectively 2 to 10 pieces/inch and the density of the weft 3 is 5 to 15 pieces/inch. Moisture is imparted to the twill after the weaving, by which the looped frills are developed at the weft 3.</p> |
