PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation of a mold in the case of molding an asymmetrical shape by providing a deviation preventive plate for preventing a horizontal deviation on a vertical mold surface at an outside of a cavity. SOLUTION: In the FRP mold 1, a gap (t) between an outside vertical surface 31 of a pinch-off part 6 of an upper mold 3 and a vertical surface 21 of a lower mold 2 is set, for example, to 10.5 mm, and a deviation preventive plate 8 made of a steel sheet having a thickness of 10 mm, a vertical side of 500 mm and a lateral side of 500 mm is mounted at the surface (vertical mold surface of outside of a cavity) 31 of the part 6 of the mold 3. Thus, even if uneven force for pressing the mold 3 in a horizontal rightward direction is generated, the plate 8 is brought into contact with the surface 21 of the mold 2, and hence the further movement of the mold 3 in the rightward direction is prevented. The rightward deviation of the mold 3 is specified to about 0.5 mm at the maximum. Even in the case of molding an asymmetrical FRP molding having remarkably different shape, size and area in lengthwise or width direction, irregular thickness, insufficient resin filling or gas burn of the molding can be prevented. |
