摘要

FIELD: devices for ultraviolet irradiation of animals. SUBSTANCE: focal plane of reflector mounts tubular low-pressure lamp whose bulb is coated on part of its length with erythematous phosphor. Reflector is mounted for turning about its axis. Screen is mounted on reflector on bulb side free from phosphor for turning about its axis. Interaction between erythema rays and short-wave radiation from bulb part free from phosphor enhances biological action of erythema radiation on young animals. Screen functions to control amount of radiation and respective exposure time metered for different species depending on their age, sex, and functional conditions. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg øøø1
