This invention relates to a peroxide-containing catalyst composition which conta ins 60 to 80 % by weight of a ketone peroxide component (A), 10 to 20 % by weight of a ketone ester component (B) and 10 to 20 % by weight of an inhibitor component (C), wherein th e sum of the percentages by weight of components (A), (B) and (C) adds up to 100 % by wei ght. The invention also relates to the use of the peroxide-containing catalyst compos ition as a starter peroxide composition in the pultrusion process.
