The device is for taking apart an electrical coupling unit (10, 11) of the pin plug type, and comprises a pincers-type tool with two arms (1) which are rotatably connected around a point (2), whereby the one ends of the arms have grip jaws (3) for gripping the coupling unit and the arm other ends form a hand grip for separating the coupling unit with the aid of lever effect. The grip jaws support a braking component (5) which is pushed into a joint in the coupling unit when the hand grip is pushed together for taking apart the coupling unit. At least one of the breaking components is fixed on a link arm (6) on the one of the grip jaws, the link arm being rotatably located around a point (7) on the grip jaws. The link arm has the form of a U-shaped stirrup, each arm of the stirrup supporting a braking component on its inside. |
