PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high precise ceramic drive system to be reliable and easy to use and excellent in a cost effect to a manufacturer. SOLUTION: A high-precise ceramic drive system is provided with a drive chain 24 spanning between first and second sprockets 14 and 20, and the chain 24 is provided with a plurality of mutual coupling main link 45. A pair of opposite center links of which the mutual coupling main link 45 consists are manufactured of either a sintered martensite stainless steel or tetragonal zirconia ceramic. Further, a center roller located between the center links and making contact with the chain 24 is manufactured of a composite material (ZrO2 -Al2 O3 ) of alumina and tetragonal zirconia. Further, the sprockets 14 and 20 are manufactured of a composite material of zirconia and alumina ceramic. |
