PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a missing voice interpolation encoding device which smooth ly transitions a voiced state to an unvoiced state or an unvoiced state to a voiced state by efficiently using a storage device necessary for holding interpola tion data, when missing voice data is interpolated. SOLUTION: An encoding device using a frequency band split signal is provided with a ring buffer means 44. Input digital voice data are sequentially stored in this ring buffer means 44. If an intermittent discontinuity of a voice signal is detected by a hit detection means 42, the stored data are transferred to an attenuation increase means 56 and new voice data are processed based on a predetermined attenuation coefficient and an increase coefficient. And a digital voice signal selection means 55 inserts the processed data in a silent section. In this manner, it is possible to realize smooth transition from a voiced state to an unvoiced state or vice versa. |
