PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which is capable of easily connecting several cables thereto, and which is designed to further narrow the pitch between contacts. SOLUTION: A cable conductor 2b is disposed between a left contact piece 4a and a right contact piece 4b with their leading ends is bifurcated. When a housing 5 is covered with a cover 8, the left contact piece 4a and the right contact piece 4b are connected in pressure contact by a pressing piece 6 of a slide 7. Cable conductors 2b are respectively supported by pinching it between the corresponding left contact piece 4a and right contact piece 4b. This connects the cable conductors 2b and the corresponding contacts together.
