PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sequential numbering matching the feeling of a worker by calculating the coordinates of each vertex of a rectangle circumscribing all chip components based on the coordinates of mounting position and the outer dimensions of a chip component and stepping the sequential number of a reference chip component satisfying specified conditions by 1. SOLUTION: Based on the coordinates of mounting position and the outer dimensions of a chip component, a chip vertex calculating means 3 calculates the coordinates of each vertex of a rectangle circumscribing a chip component defined by two sides parallel with the first axis of the orthogonal coordinate of all chip components and two sides parallel with the second axis thereof. A reference chip component calculating means 4 selects a chip component satisfying specified conditions for an unnumbered chip component thus designating a reference chip component. A positional conditions decision means 5 makes a decision whether an unnumbered chip component satisfies the specified conditions or not. A sequential numbering means 7 steps the sequential number of the reference chip component by 1 thus determining the sequential number. |
