PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which estimates traffic information of a link whose traffic information is not acquired from a link whose traffic information is acquired and searches an optimum route. SOLUTION: A transmitter-receiver 10, an FM antenna 14 and a receiver 16 acquire traffic information such as the congestion degree of a link and travel time, and a navigator ECU 18 searches an optimum route. When there is a 2nd link whose traffic information is not acquired among links for road search, the traffic information of a 1st link is weighted in accordance with the direction difference and alienation degree (of time or distance) of the 2nd link whose traffic information is not acquired against the 1st link whose traffic information is acquired and the traffic information of the 2nd link is estimated with the weighted traffic information. The navigator ECU 18 searches an optimum route to a destination by using the estimated traffic information and shows it on a display 20. |
