PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell which has an aggregate of electrodes equipped with sections with different discharge rates, by forming at least one region of a second electrode consisting of at least 2 regions in a jelly roll structure together with a part of a first electrode. SOLUTION: An anode sheet 28 faces both surfaces of a center cathode plate 30 in the same jelly roll structural body and a cathode 32 with a high surface area. A medium rate region 12 of the cathode plate 30 and the cathode 32 preferably supply comparatively a constant discharge current, and a high rate region 14 preferably supplies an electric pulse discharging power source. These 2 regions 12, 14 are activated by the same electrolyte. The anode sheet 28 for the 2 regions 12, 14 is made of alkaline metal or alkaline earth metal, preferably lithium. For an appropriate material as a cathode active material, vanadium silver oxide, manganes dioxide, copper sulfide, carbon etc., and a mixture of those are recommended. |
