<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an assigned target from target information obtained in the past and to continuously track a target, which is an object to be tracked, on the basis of the determined target information by selecting any two targets from the results of n-time target detection in the past and assigning the combination of detection targets with an estimated minimum rate of frequency change of detection targets as the assigned target. SOLUTION: A radar device 3 is directed toward a target, and received video signals obtained by the transmission and reception of radio waves are summarized as target information at a signal processing part 4. Whether there was n-time target detection in the past or not at the signal processing part 4 is determined at an assigned target determining part 9 by Doppler rates of change. In the case that there were n-time target detection in the past, any given detection targets Ti and Tj are selected from detection target information. Then the sum of the Doppler frequency FDi of the detection target Ti and the Doppler frequency FDj of the detection target Tj is divided by a detected time interval to estimate the rates DVi and j of frequency change, and the combination of detection targets in which the estimated rates of frequency change become minimum is determined as the assigned target.</p> |
