摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method excellent in temperature responsiveness and easy for keeping a system of reaction at a fixed temp. by executing a polymeric process in a container having a jacket and supplying high-pressure steam into the jacket, while adjusting the degree of vacuum in the jacket so as to control the temp. of liquid in the container. SOLUTION: The polymerization process for producing toner grains by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer, is executed in a polymerization container 1 provided with a tank jacket 4. Pressure is reduced in the tank jacket 4 by a vacuum generator 2 and the high-pressure steam is supplied to the jacket 4 through a control valve 5. The absolute pressure of steam in the jacket 4 is controlled to effectively adjust the temp. of the liquid in the container 1 to the fixed temp. In the case of cooling, cooling water is charged through a control valve 6, to execute vacuum vaporization cooling. Vaporization cooling in the vacuum is efficient and the cooling water can be reduced as well. The toner grains are obtained through a dispersing agent removing process, a solid liquid separating process and a drying process, after the completion of the polymeric process.</p>
