摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board which can inexpensively and flexibly copes with an increase in the number of external connecting terminals (pins) in a pattern by press-fitting and fixing the leg sections of the connecting terminals in the inserting holes of a base substrate. SOLUTION: On the main surface of a base substrate 2, connecting terminals 1 are arranged in two rows so that the terminals 1 in one row may be oppositely faced to the terminals 1 in the other row by inserting the terminals 1 into inserting holes formed into the substrate 2 from the main surface at prescribed intervals. Each terminal 1 has a contact section 1d formed by bending the side of the terminal 1 which comes into contact with the end section of a circuit pattern formed on the main surface of a card substrate 3 in a chevron-like state, a back section 1e, and two leg sections 1a. Each leg section 1a has a central slit 1b so that the section 1b may be elastically deformed and brought into contact with and fixed to the internal surface of one inserting hole when the section 1a is press-fitted in the hole. Therefore, the cost of a printed wiring board can be reduced, because the need of a resin case for forming connectors is eliminated. In addition, the wiring board can flexibly be coped with an increase in the number of pins.
