PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent mutual interference in the case of simultaneous communication with respect to the information portable terminal equipment having plural communication functions such as radio communication and infrared ray communication. SOLUTION: The information portable terminal equipment having a communication function is provided with an arbitration circuit 52 that uses a controller 38 of a PHS section 30 to detect a transmission reception slot of PHS communication in the case of conducting simultaneously infrared ray communication and radio communication and controls a controller 18 in an infrared ray section 10 so as not to give effect on other communication state in the case of transmission by both the communication methods. Thus, the simultaneous communication is conducted without causing deteriorated communication.
