PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car battery plug which is easily extracted with a reduced retention force when extracting it by making a fit with an appropriate holding force when it is connected to a cigar lighter socket. SOLUTION: A support part 25a and an inclination part 25b having an inclination surface 26 continuous with the support part 25a are formed on the side of a slider 25 sliding in a plug housing 2. When an abutment position abutting on a folded end 17b of a plate spring contact piece 17 exists in the support part 25a, the contact part 17a projecting from a window hole 19 to a large extent is fitted and connected to a cigar writer socket 111. When a car battery plug 1 is extracted, an operation knob located in a holding part is moved backwardly so that the slider 25 is slid to intrude the folded end 17b into the plug housing 2 along the inclination surface 26. Therefore, the contact part 17a is retreated in the direction of the window hole 19 to easily extract it with a lowered retention force.
