PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform satisfactory conduction without damage to a conductive layer by a conducting member by forming thin insulation film layers on both ends of the conductive layer or a photosensitive layer, and making butting rollers, which are provided on both ends of a developing means, abut on the layer. SOLUTION: A photosensitive drum 10 is composed of a cylindrical and light-transmissitve substrate 1, and the conductive layer 2 and the photosensitive layer 3 which are applied in this order to the periphery of it. The conductive layer 2 is wider than the photosensitive layer 3 to reach to the ends of the light-transmissive substrate 1. The ends of the conductive layer 2 are in contact with flange members 10B composed of metal members and, via a gear 10G, conduction between a device main body, grounded through a train of meshed gears, and the conductive layer 2 is attained. Further, tape members T, as the thin insulation film layers, are wrapped round both the ends on the periphery of the conductive layer 2 of the light-transmissive substrate 1, and the butting rollers 131 abut on the peripheries. Therefore, any damage to the conductive layer 2 is prevented by conducting between the layer 2 and the butting roller 131 through the tape members T to satisfy conduction. |
