The method for adjusting the angular position of a car door window (2), after manufacture of the window in which deformations may have occurred, involves introducing the bottom of the deformed window between two end positions in a U shaped section having surfaces with tolerances relative to a surface of known parameters. The U-shaped section is fixed to the bottom of the window by a support to align the window with a peripheral seal.
