PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fusion coupling which generate no crack during its use and controls the permeation and flowing-out of gas or liquid, by installing a heat generator on the proximal area of the tube end so as to also weld the tube end of a fusion-welded resin tube. SOLUTION: A resin tube 2 is inserted into an electric fusion coupling 1 until the tube's end face touches a stopper 5 which is installed on the center of the electric welding coupling 1, current is flowed into an electric heating wire 3 which is installed near the inner surface of the electric fusion coupling 1, and the resin between the electric welding coupling 1 and the resin tube 2 which are near the electric heating wire 3 is welded and they are connected. In such an electric fusion coupling, the electric heating wire 3 is extended to the stopper 5 of the electric fusion coupling body 1, and also installed near the surface of the stopper 5 which contacts with the end face of the resin tube 2. During fusion-joining, this prevents a unfused cold zone from occurring on the end of the resin tube 2 at the center of the electric fusion coupling 1, and prevents the unjoining face between the resin tube 2 and the coupling from opening corresponding to time and generating cracks. |
