PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which improves efficiency and is excellent in reliability by performing a process for handling sheets which are different in feeding position. SOLUTION: In a specific part of an MP tray 10, an MP-tray sheet presence/ absence detection sensor 30, as a, sheet presence/absence detection means, is provided. Whether sheets are stacked on the MP tray 10 or not is detected by the MP-tray sheet presence/absence sensor 30. Based on the detection by the MP-tray sheet presence/detection sensor 30, the device detects whether or not the paper to be fed is the very first one of a stack of sheets set on the MP tray 10. |
