The windscreen mounting clamps between the stanchions (7) of the front forks. The mounting has a tube (3) and two end rods (2) with threaded shanks (5) fitting into the tube. Each rod outer end has a threaded bore to receive a threaded rod (1), on which each of the feet of the windscreen are fixed by retaining nuts. The end of each rod has a curved clamping face (8) plate to engage the respective fork stanchion. There is a rubber or plastics pad (6) placed between each clamp and the respective stanchion.
