PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstruction approach preventing camera capable of effectively preventing the approach of an obstruction such as covering with a finger. SOLUTION: The camera is equipped with a light emitting part for reducing the red-eye effect 5 for projecting light toward an object and an AE light receiving part 6 which is provided to be adjacent to the light emitting part for reducing the red-eye effect 5 and for measuring the quantity of the light received from the direction of the object. When the finger 20 approaches the light emitting part for reducing the red-eye effect 5, the increase of the light received by the AE light receiving part 6 caused by the reflection by the obstruction 20, of the light projected from the light emitting part 5 is captured to detect the approach of the finger 20. |
