PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the state updating mechanism of a cell, and to constitute a highly dense neural net. SOLUTION: In this device using a cellular automation 1, cells 30, 31,..., 34 respectively having a state storing mechanism 4 and a state updating mechanism 5 are arrayed like a multiple grid. In this case, the stage storing mechanism 4 includes a part whose information is open to the other cells and a part not open to the public, and the state updating mechanism 5 includes an open updating part and a private updating part, and each state updating mechanism 5 decides the next state based on the state of its own cell and the open state of the neighborhood cell. |
