PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator array wherein dimension precision of the entire scintillator array is improved while it is manufactured with simple assembly work. SOLUTION: A scintillator 3 is fitted with a scintillator allocation jig 2 comprising scintillator insert holes 16 at given intervals, and line materials 4 of large light-reflectance are laminated in lattice at the gap among scintillators 3, for packing the gap. Then, the side surface of scintillator array 1 is covered with a reflective material tape 6 while the upper surface with a reflective material sheet 5, etc. Lastly, the scintillator arranging jig 2 is detached, and such surface of the scintillator 3 as exposed is bonded to such optical detector as photomultiplier by using optical coupling agent.
