PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a receiver at a receiver side to receive broadcast programs of all channels by separating a digital broadcast signal into digital signals of pluralities of channels, selecting digital signals of preset channel number, converting the channels into channel configuration of a CATV, modulating the signals for each of preset pluralities of channels and transmitting the result to a CATV channel. SOLUTION: A demodulation means 11 demodulates pluralities of digital broadcast signals into digital signals of pluralities of channels, and a channel selection means 13 selects a digital signal of a channel to be sent to a CATV channel. The digital signal of the selected channel is converted into a form used by the CATV channel at a signal form conversion means 14 as the digital signal of a same form, a modulation means 15 modulates the signal by the modulation system used by a CATV and a transmission means 16 transmits the result to the CATV channel. Thus, one receiver of the CATV is enough and since the digital signal is transmitted without modification, the deterioration in the image quality is prevented. |
