PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an antenna and radio equipment which are arranged on the side of a road and to surely perform radio communication between the road and a vehicle by arranging leakage cable type antennas along buildings that are arranged in a cross direction of a road-way and providing single radio equipment that is arranged on the side of the road. SOLUTION: A gantry 11 that is constructed to cross a road 10 which has plural lanes is provided. A leakage cable (leakage coaxial cable or leaky- waveguide) type antenna 12 which is laid along the gantry 11 is connected to an antenna terminal of radio equipment 16 that is arranged on the side of a road, and uniform radio zones 15 are formed in the direction of lanes. With such a structure, all the structure of the radio equipment 16 has to do is to arrange a radio equipment that is connected to the antenna 12. With the structure, it is possible to perform sure radio communication between the road and vehicle with plural vehicles which travel on plural lanes under the gantry 11, and it is suitable to arrange at a tollgate that adopts an automatic toll collection system. |
