<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of an abnormal resistance value, by printing and firing a resistor paste in a resistor forming region on an insulating board so that an unformed portion of a sheet like resistor remains, and providing a trimming leading end for correction of the resistance value in the unformed portion. SOLUTION: In a resistor forming region in each unit region 11 of an insulating board, a sheet like resistor 3 is printed and fired so as to bridge lateral electrodes 2, 2 facing each other. At this point, a resistor paste is screen-printed so that an unformed portion 7 of the sheet like resistor 3 remains, and after that, the resistor paste is fired. Then, a glass coating 5 is printed and fired so as to cover a trimming position. A laser starting point 40 which is to be a trimming leading end is set in the unformed portion 7 of the sheet like resistor 3, and is translated in parallel in the direction of a longitudinal break groove 8, thus starting trimming so as to traverse the sheet like resistor 3. In addition, the laser starting point is translated in parallel in the direction of a lateral break groove 9, thus carrying out trimming. Then, after a glass coating 6 is applied, a chip is formed.</p> |
