PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an ABS control operation without a vehicle speed sensor, and to rationalize, miniaturize, and lighten the structure of a vehicle by a method, wherein it is judged that a tire is locked on the basis of the counterelectromotive force of a motor in the operation of a brake and the operation of a braking device is released temporarily, when the existence of the tire lock is judged. SOLUTION: A control unit 3 is constituted of a power MOSFET F1 for motor drive, a power MOSFET F2 forming a braking device, and a microcomputer 30 and the like. A vehicle-speed detecting means which detects a vehicle speed at a tire wheel 11 on the basis of the counterelectromotive force Vr of a motor 2, when the braking device 7 is operated, a tire-lock detecting means which judges that a tire is locked on the basis of the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle-speed detecting means and an ABS control means which temporarily releases the operation of braking device 7 at a time, when it is judged that the tire is locked are constituted by means of software. |
