<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which fast wavelet transformation can be attained. SOLUTION: A horizontal and vertical array transforming part 104 constituted of plural fast-in fast-out(FIFO) memories having the same length as the number of data for one line in a horizontal direction and the same number as the filters of vertical wavelet transformation processing parts 106 and 107 is provided between a horizontal wavelet transformation processing part 103 and vertical wavelet transformation processing parts 106 and 107. Thus, data outputted from the output tap of each FIFO memory are transmitted to the digital filters of the vertical wavelet transformation processing parts 106 and 107 so that the data arranged in the horizontal direction can be transformed into the array in the vertical direction, and vertical wavelet transformation can be attained. Therefore, the data wavelet transformed in the horizontal direction can be wavelet transformed without being stored in an outside memory once.</p> |
