JOINING PART OF CV CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jointing part of a CV cable (cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable) which is made to be compact by reducing a working length and can be made by a simplified working procedure. SOLUTION: Conductors 2a and 2a' of 1st and 2nd CV cables 2 and 2' and a high-voltage shielding electrode 111 are connected with a conductor connection part 12. Metallic shields 2d and 2d' of the 1st and the 2nd CV cables 2 and 2' are connected by insulated connection through an edge cut part 110b, integrally formed with an epoxy insulator 110. Since the edge cut part 110b is integrally formed with the epoxy insulator 110, and moreover, the transfer of an epoxy unit 11 is not necessary, the size of the joint part on a longitudinal direction can be reduced and a working procedure can be simplified.
