<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable foreign currency conversion desk-top calculator in which the conversion of foreign currency can be easily attained at the time of shopping abroad by instantaneously converting displayed 'foreign currency' into 'Japanese currency' and displaying it by the simple operation of 'only pressing a currency conversion key once' at a specific key part additionally provided at a conventional general portable desk-top calculator, and simultaneously returning it to the 'original foreign currency' by the simple operation of 'only pressing a conversion release key'. SOLUTION: A conventional general portable desk-top calculator is provided with a specific key part 3 for foreign currency conversion, and a rate memory key 4, rate memory display/release key 5, currency conversion key 6, and conversion release key 7 are arranged at the specific key part. Then, calculating and storing mechanisms corresponding to those newly provided specific keys 4-7 are added to the conventional mechanisms inside the desk-top calculator.</p> |
