The user pulls on a lever movable against a resistance. Each arm has a lever-arm (7) both separately and or variably movable. The lever arm are connected to weights by pulleys via deflector rollers, and are lifted and lowered in a frame. The pulley leads first into the top of the frame then onto the foot, then horizontally as far as the plane of the pivot lever, and final to the same height as the grip-handles.
