Magnetic sensor

The sensor has a coil (10) and a magnetosensitive wire formed of magnetic wire (4), which has a medium hard magnetic characteristic and has a first and a second end. The magnetic wire is rotated circumferentially and is fixed to the coil. A detecting winding is provided, which is wound around the coil body (1) of the coil. The magnetosensitive wire is rotated about an angle of at least 36 deg per cm and not more than 7200 deg per cm. The coil body has a passage (1a) and a pair of rims (2,3). Each rim has a passage (2a,3a) that continues from the first passage and a first groove (2b,3b) in an outer side surface, which also continues the first passage. The ends of the wire are fitted in the grooves in the rims.
