摘要 An AT-cut crystal resonator comprising two exciting electrodes respectively formed on two main surfaces of an AT-cut quartz plate, wherein the relative positional relation between the two electrodes is shifted in the direction perpendicular to the X-axis of the quartz plate to such an extent that the frequency deviation of the resonator within a temperature range from -10 to 50 DEG C is reduced to be within a range of +/- 2.5 ppm; and another AT-cut crystal resonator comprising electrodes faced oppositely to each other and disposed on both main surfaces of the quartz plate so as to be slightly shifted from each other in the opposite directions along the Z'-axis of the crystal, wherein a balancing load is formed on a piezoelectric substrate on the opposite side of the direction of shifting of the electrodes. Therefore, a crystal resonator having the oscillation frequency corresponding to various specifications can be provided at a low cost merely by performing such an easy and simple structural modification or change as slight changes in the arrangement or constitution of the electrodes without making such an endeavor as the elimination of the cut-angle deviation for enhancing the yield of nondefective quartz plates.
