<p>The motor has an electronic system controlling the output and/or speed of the motor. The electronic system (41) has one part (42) integrated with the housing (34), one section (46) of which carrying power electronic components partially projects from the housing into the air stream (36) generated by the fan runner (24). A further part (44, 52, 56) is located separately. The partially air cooled part can contained components suitable for different motor layouts and the power components can have cooling fins whilst the separately accommodated part can have components suitable for different motors.</p> |
