The drive shaft (24) lower end is connected with a double jointed shaft (30). The double jointed shaft consists of an upper jointed shaft section (31) with an intermediate section (33) connected via a joint (32) and a further joint (34) connecting a lower jointed shaft section (35). The lower section is detachably connected with a rigid spindle (40). The spindle is coupled with a slider plate (50). The plate is raised to open an outlet opening (12) of the water works wall (10) or to close it. The spindle (40) is positioned above the upper location of the slider plate in a guide position (41) and has its upper end in an upper guide and support location (42). The guide and support position supports the spindle axially in both directions (F) so that the spindle withstands tensile force due to raising or lowering of plate and pressure force pressing the plate to the shut position.
