Telecommunication arrangement for monitoring connections

The telecommunication arrangement (1) includes graphical objects (10,11,12) which enable selected addresses of telecommunication connections to be visible on display surfaces (6) of displays. Each graphical object is allocated to a storage location with data of the corresponding address. The graphical objects are directly controllable using an input apparatus whereby a set-up is automatically carried out of a telecommunication connection to the corresponding telecommunication connection (8,9). A connection between the telecommunication connection and the telecommunication arrangement is graphically displayed on the display surface using graphic elements, e.g. lines (13,15,16). The graphic elements connect graphic objects which are allocated to the telecommunication connections.
