Automotive hydraulic clutch disengagement unit

A hydraulically-operated unit (1) within a housing (2) disengages a friction-operated clutch. The housing (2) has a piston (7) moving through a sleeve-guide (5) and which engages at the limit of travel with a clutch disengagement bearing (10). The piston (7) and bearing (10) engage and disengage by means of a holding ring (11) linked to the disengagement bearing (10) inner ring (15). The engagement and disengagement is effect by a push-turn link (16) on the piston (7).
