A method and a pump 1 for providing a liquid-gas-mixture pressurised to a desired end pressure. The liquid and the gas are brought together, following which they are compressed to a pressure where the gas is dissolved into the liquid. The liquid with dissolved gas is then compressed to the desired end pressure.
