The aim of the invention is to enable a data carrier disk (1) provided with an overprint (10) to be aligned in an economical and simple way. To this end, the invention provides a method for aligning the data carrier disk in a specific position, whereby said data carrier disk is moved in relation to a sensor (4). The sensor detects a marking (8) on the moving data carrier disk and determines the position of said data carrier disk. The data carrier disk is then aligned using the position determined by the sensor. The invention also relates to a corresponding data carrier disk. This data carrier disk is provided with an overprint and has a marking which can be detected by a sensor. The invention also relates to a device for aligning a data carrier disk in a specific position. This device comprises a sensor for detecting a marking on the data carrier disk, elements for moving said data carrier disk in relation to the sensor and elements for determining the position of the marking relative to the sensor. |
