Circuit board labelling device

The labelling device has a circuit board set (17) supplied via a conveyor band (18) to a labelling station, at which a label printer (22) is moved transverse to the conveying direction, for applying respective printed labels to the individual circuit boards (1-16). The circuit boards are arranged in a rectangular matrix, with the label printer moved in a zig-zag path relative to the circuit board set, for labelling each of the circuit boards, with synchronised indexing of the circuit board set in the transport direction.
