Branch in flue gas duct with opening of first duct into second duct

A downward sloping deflector surface is formed in the side of the opening from the first into the second flue gas duct (1). The condensate (7) formed by the cooling-down of the flue gas is diverted into the second flue gas duct. The opening part contains a transition part (3) the cross-section of which towards the second flue gas duct as compared with the cross-section of the opening in the first flue gas duct widens out in both directions. A drip nose (8) is formed between the transition part and the second flue gas duct.
