A motor vehicle for public transport, such as a bus or tramway, has a drivers cab separated from the passenger compartment by an at least partially transparent partition and a display unit located in the passenger compartment, provided with luminescent elements and onto which information can be written by a programmable computer. The display unit is a screen suitable for displaying motion pictures, graphics and text and secured in a frame so as to be visible to the people in the passenger compartment. A programmable controller for the graphics and/or text to be displayed on the screen is mounted in the area of the inner wall or ceiling of the motor vehicle and connected by a connection cable to the screen. A controller that can be supplied with a 24 volt operating voltage is provided. |
