The invention relates to an attachment for a sander. According to the invention, the elements (1) for attaching a work attachment to the vibrating plate of a sander are specially configured for attachment to a sander with a rectangular vibrating plate. The work attachment also has a different shape, size and/or function to the shape, size and/or function of the rectangular vibrating plate. The inventive attachment extends the possible uses of a usual commercial sander with a rectangular vibrating plate in various ways. For example, the work attachment can be configured as a triangular sanding attachment, a grinding blade or a grouting knife. The aim of the invention is to provide a modular, multi-functional, economical attachment system. To this end, the work attachments and the elements for attaching them are configured as separate parts. The modular assembly not only of the attachments but also the attachment elements guarantees that the inventive attachment is compatible with almost all commonly used types of sanders. |
