MODULAR BOILER

A modular boiler system having a low profile design which may be a natural circulation, forced convection, or a once-through boiler system. The modular boiler is rapidly constructed with at least three modules (42, 44, 46) and preferably an enlarged furnace box (50) for effective utilization of radiant heat transfer and better carbon burnout. The improved boiler is erected rapidly with less equipment required and is approximately 40 % less in height than a conventional boiler of similar unit size.
