A method for inhibiting sedimentation in Echinacea (cone flower) plant juice (I) involves briefly cooling freshly pressed (I), clarifying the cooled solution by filtration and adjusting the pH to below 6 with acid. Also claimed are the stabilised (I) obtained by the process and medicinal preparations containing the stabilised (I).
